How the Weenect GPS tracker can help you in your daily life

Your cat goes out for hours every day without you knowing where. Your dog tends to wander off on walks or escape from the garden. These are everyday situations for millions of pet owners — and that is exactly where Weenect steps in.

Thanks to its InfinityTrack™ technology, your GPS tracker lets you know where your pet is at any moment, alerts you if it strays too far, and helps you find it quickly when needed. Here is how it can support you day to day.

Know where your pet is, at all times

The GPS Tracking feature lets you follow your pet's movements in real time, with no distance limit. In the Weenect app, a quick glance at the Map is all you need to check that your cat is in its usual territory or that your dog is still in the garden.

Your pet's position is updated automatically according to the GPS Interval you have selected (every 10 seconds to 5 minutes). If you need an immediate position, tap the Refresh position button for an instant update.

For even more precise tracking, activate Superlive mode: your pet's position is then updated every second, allowing you to follow its movements live.

Be alerted in the event of an escape

Safety zones let you define a perimeter around your home, your garden, or any other location of your choice. As soon as your pet enters or leaves this zone, you receive an entry or exit zone alert by push notification, SMS, or email on your phone.

Find your pet quickly

When your pet has wandered off and you need to retrieve it, several complementary tools are available:

Superlive gives you second-by-second tracking to guide you in the right direction, even if your pet is moving quickly. The Compass shows you the direction to take and the distance separating you from your pet. It is ideal when your pet is more than 100 metres away.

At close range, when your pet is nearby but out of sight — hiding behind a bush, under fallen leaves, or in a corner — the Ring feature takes over. One tap in the app and the tracker emits a sound that guides you directly to it. At night, the built-in Flashlight makes the tracker visible in the dark.

Call your pet back with recall training

Your Weenect tracker can also become a genuine recall training tool. The principle is simple: make the tracker ring or vibrate at every mealtime. Over time, your pet will associate this signal with feeding time.

Once this conditioning is in place, a single tap on Ring or Vibrate in the app is all it takes for your dog or cat to come back to you on its own. This is a gentle, positive-reinforcement-based method that turns your GPS tracker into a recall collar — without the negative side.

Track your pet's habits and activity

Beyond location tracking, Weenect helps you understand your pet better:

The Position History lets you view your pet's routes over the time period of your choice. This helps you understand its habits, spot favourite routes, or identify unusual behaviour.

The Territory Analysis displays, as a heat map, the places where your pet spends the most time. It is a simple way to visualise the extent of its territory.

Activity Tracking counts the steps taken each day. You can set a daily goal suited to your pet and track its progress from the app. A great way to make sure it stays active and healthy.

Conclusion

Know where it is, be warned if it strays, find it in minutes, call it back with a click, understand its habits: Weenect supports you through each of these everyday moments. All of this is made possible by InfinityTrack™ technology, which combines GPS accuracy, alert responsiveness, continuous connectivity, and battery life.
