Can I unlink a tracker from my account myself?
👉 No, not at the moment.
Unlinking a tracker is carried out manually by our customer support team.
This process is regulated for security reasons, personal data protection (GDPR) and the management of subscriptions and payment methods associated with trackers.
Case 1: Removing a tracker from your account
Removing a tracker makes it available so it can later be added to another account with a new subscription and a new payment method.
Conditions
The tracker must no longer have an active subscription.
If a subscription is still active, it must be cancelled before the tracker can be removed.
How to proceed
Contact our customer support team.
Have the IMEI number of the tracker ready.
Specify that you would like to remove the tracker from your account.
Once removed, the tracker can be freely added to another account.
Case 2: Transferring a tracker to another account
⚠️ A tracker transfer automatically includes :
the transfer of the subscription
the transfer of the associated payment method
For this reason, transfers are strictly regulated.
Authorized transfers
Transfers are only allowed :
within the same family
within the same organization
The request must come from the current account owner (for example: separation, divorce, or a change of account owner within an organization).
The subscription must be active at the time of the transfer.
Unauthorized transfers
Transfers outside the family or organizational framework are not possible.
In this case, we recommend :
Removing the tracker from the current account
Then adding it to a new account with a new subscription.
Why these restrictions?
Unlike other types of trackers, our trackers are :
linked to sensitive personal data
associated with an active subscription
connected to a payment method
To prevent unauthorized transfers or handling errors (billing, data access, responsibilities), these operations are intentionally supervised and carried out by our teams.
