How to attach the Weenect XT to your collar or harness?

The Weenect XT tracker comes in two versions: with an integrated JK9 collar or sold separately. This article covers the version without a collar, which comes with accessories designed to fit any type of equipment.

Your Weenect XT tracker can be used in different ways depending on your dog's preferences and the gear you already have.

Two accessories are included to help you easily adapt it to any situation:

  • The silicone case, for use on a collar
  • The Velcro attachment, to be used with the silicone case on a harness

1. Using the silicone case with a collar

The silicone case is designed to secure the Weenect XT tracker onto a standard collar.
Flexible yet durable, it protects the tracker while keeping it securely in place on your pet’s collar.
It fits most collars and can be installed in just a few seconds.

💡 Good to know
Make sure your pet’s collar is properly fitted: it should be neither too tight nor too loose. A space of about two fingers between the collar and your pet’s neck is recommended.

2. Using the Velcro attachment with a harness

The Velcro attachment is ideal if your pet wears a harness instead of a collar.
It is used together with the silicone case: simply insert the Velcro attachment into the case before placing the tracker inside, then secure it to your harness.
This fastening system ensures a stable hold while allowing your pet complete freedom of movement.

💡 Good to know
Make sure the tracker is facing upward toward the sky to ensure optimal GPS reception, regardless of the type of harness used.

⚠️ Please make sure both sides of the Velcro are securely fastened to prevent losing your tracker.
